As a parent it’s natural that you would want to be assured of your child’s safety and welfare wherever they are. Scouting Ireland is committed to ensuring that our youth members learn, develop and have fun in a safe and secure environment. It has developed robust child protection, recruitment and selection policies and procedures. These policies and procedures are consistent with national child protection policy and with good practice guidelines in the Youth Work sector.
