Some of our Sea Scouts recently completed the Connacht and Ulster Mountain Pursuit Challenges. These two night expeditions require participants to be full self-sufficient for equipment, food and navigation in the hills for two nights and two days. Well done to all! We are getting ready to return to in-person activities following the latest public health guidance! Current members will get information soon on the arrangements. We still have an extensive waiting list, which we will continue to work through. Though as numbers for in-person activities are currently limited, we don’t expect a large number of places…
2019 and beyond…
Summer 2019 was a great success with our members attending camps in Fota Island and Lough Allen. We now start our winter nautical skills programme and look forward to next spring and summer. We also did significant (but slow) refurbishment of our facilities to ensure we have a top class location for our young members….

We took delivery of an East Coast Skiff in September 2017 courtesy of 8ú Calafort Gasóga Mara. We are delighted to have the use of this boat. We will spend winter 2017 preparing it for a summer afloat in 2018. Being part of this tradition of rowing in Dublin Bay is very important to us…

Developing our boating thanks to the Aviva Stadium Community Fund!
We are delighted to have been chosen to be part of the Aviva Stadium Community Fund Scheme in 2016. The €2,000 recieved will support our boating programme, with equipment being purchased over the next few weeks.
